Day 01 Colombo - Sigiriya/Dambulla
Arrive at Colombo and transfer from airport to Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. The Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage was established in 1975. The original objective of establishing the orphanage inclined more towards tourism, but is soon became a conservation and educational center. The success story of Pinnawela has drawn the attention of scientists from all over the world. After visit proceed to Sigriya/Dambulla. Overnight in Sigriya/Dambulla. Note : In the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela, one can visit the elephant at feeding time to see the baby elephants being bottle fed and the entire herd being taken for a bath thereafter to the river near by. These activities take place at specific timings only.
Day 2 Sigiriya/Dambulla - Trincomalee
Today after breakfast proceed from Sigiriya to Trincomalee. This part of the east coast is well known is for its beautiful deserted beaches. Trincomalee is also well known for its natural harbour. At any one point it is only possible to see sections of the magnificent Bay which gives Trincomalee its reputation as one of the finest natural harbours in the world. Later proceed for a city tour of Trincomalee, visit Shakti Peedam & Thirukoneshwar Temple. Overnight in Trincomalee.
Day 3 Trincomalee - Matale - Kandy
After breakfast proceed to Dambulla & visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. Later transfer to kandy, enroute visit a spice garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. You will be introduced to different spices and shown howsome of these spices are grown and processed. Later transfer from Matale to Kandy. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 4 Kandy - Peradeniya - Colombo
After breakfast, do a city tour of Kandy and visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. This botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. Thereafter proceed to Colombo. On arrival in Colombo proceed for a shopping tour of Colombo including visits to the House of Fashions, ODEL, Noritake ceramic shop and local souvenir shop. Overnight in Colombo.
Day 5 Colombo
After breakfast, transfer to airport to board the flight to next destination or to your hometown with lot of fond memories to cherish for a lifetime.
